Viktor Andersson joins TCR Eastern Europe’s season opener

Swedish driver Viktor Andersson from the MA:GP team is the newest addition to the field of the opening round of TCR Eastern Europe at the Red Bull Ring.

Andersson competed in the last two seasons of TCR Europe with a Lynk & Co 03 car and achieved several podium finishes, including one in Brno last year, where TCR Europe and TCR Eastern Europe raced together. He also won the first race in TCR UK at Brands Hatch.

“TCR Eastern Europe is a strong championship, and this is a great opportunity to gain race experience early in the season,” explained Andersson. “We will race on this track later in the year in TCR Europe so gathering data and fine-tuning the car in a competitive environment will be very valuable. My focus this season is on TCR Europe again, but if the schedule allows and the budget permits, I would be excited to take part in more TCR Eastern Europe events.”
